Kanamaruza

Matsuyama Castle

Matsuyama Castle was built by famous castle builder Yoshiaki Kato. The castle keep tower, rebuilt in 1854, is the current Matsuyama Castle, and is the last complete castle from the Edo period among the 12 existing keep towers. Take time and look at each of the 21 important cultural properties, gates, turrets, fan-shaped sloped stone wall, etc.
